All content broadcast via Deckster from third-party platforms is integrated exclusively through official embedded players (iframe) provided by those platforms.
Required visual elements, including but not limited to logos, titles, playback controls, source indicators, and legal notices, are always displayed in accordance with the requirements of the respective platforms.
Deckster does not modify, hide, or remove any visual or functional element required by the official players of third-party platforms.
No Centralized Streaming, Recording, or Redistribution
Deckster does not broadcast any centralized audio or video stream. Each user individually accesses content through the official players of third-party platforms.
Deckster does not offer any recording, archiving, capturing, or redistribution functionality for musical or audiovisual content.
Public Broadcasting Licenses
It is the sole responsibility of the DJ, venue, or event organizer to hold all public broadcasting licenses required by applicable laws, including from SOCAN, Re:Sound, or any equivalent organization.
Deckster does not provide any public music broadcasting license and disclaims all liability related to the absence, insufficiency, or invalidity of such licenses.
User Categories & Responsibilities
Deckster distinguishes between several types of users, including:
- •Public User – General audience members who can submit song requests
- •DJ – Controls the room, manages playlists, and moderates requests
- •Venue / Event – Location or occasion hosting the event
Each category has different access rights, distinct levels of responsibility, and specific obligations related to the use of the service.
DJs and venues are responsible for managing broadcast content, accepting or refusing requests, and complying with applicable laws regarding public music broadcasting.
Moderation, Suspension & Termination Rights
Deckster reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide justification, to:
- •Suspend or close a room
- •Close or suspend an account
- •Block a user
- •Freeze, cancel, or disable requests
These measures may be taken in cases of abuse, inappropriate behavior, violation of these terms, attempted circumvention of the system, or for any reason deemed necessary to protect the platform, users, or partners.
Request Policy & Credit Refunds
When a user submits a song request, it may be accepted or refused at the sole discretion of the DJ or venue.
If a song request is refused by the DJ or not broadcast, the credit used is automatically re-credited to the user's account.
If a request is accepted and broadcast, no refund is possible, and the credit is considered definitively used.
Each user receives 5 free song requests per session. Free credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for payment.
Additional credits can be purchased via Request Packs. Credits are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data will result in loss of credits. We are not responsible for credits lost due to browser data clearing.
Payments & Nature of Service
Amounts charged via Deckster relate exclusively to the use of platform features (requests, management tools, interactions) and do not constitute payment for access to musical content.
Deckster sells a technological service, not access to musical content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Use the service for any illegal purposes
- •Spam song requests or abuse the request system
- •Attempt to bypass request limits or manipulate the credit system
- •Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- •Request content that violates copyright or other laws
Limitation of Liability
Deckster is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. In no event shall Deckster, its owners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
